Superlative Blogging

I don't think you'll particularly find it here, but Ambulance Driver seems to think so. Who am I to argue with a someday to be famous author and EMS conference speaker? If nothing else, I'll be able to say I knew him when. When what, I don't know, but when.

Herewith, five blogs and bloggers that I read every day and from whom I draw inspiration and hope to be as good as someday. Really.

First up to fellow gun owner all around mad man JayG at MArooned. Normally mad man and gun owner wouldn't seem to go together, but Jay makes it work. Actually, he has the facade, but that's all it is and the truth is he's a great guy and terrific blogger.

Next Peter Canning at Street Watch. Peter has the advantage of not only being a paramedic, but in a previous life he was a professional writer. His blog and his readers benefit from that.

Lissa at Looking for Lissa is another witty, intelligent, and talented writer. She's an every day must read for me.

Ted at Bore Patch is laugh out loud funny, conservative, and he knows a lot about computers. I learn something every time I visit. Which is daily, of course. You should too.

JB over at JB on The Rocks doesn't post enough, but that's because he actually has a life. When he does post, he's well worth the read because of his intellect, wit, and passion for, well, just about everything. To paraphrase a famous (and dead) Boston politician "You know where he stands".

Oh, here are the rules, as lifted directly from AD's blog,

*The Rules:Every Superior Scribbler will name 5 other Super Scribblers. If you are named you must link to the author & the name of the blog that gave you the award. Then you must display the adorable award and link to THIS POST, which explains the award. The same post also allows you to add your link. Then they will have a record of all the people who are Super Scribblers!

In this political season, I recall William T. Sherman's saying:

"If nominated, I shall not run. If elected, I shall not serve."

Me, I'm not like that. At all.

Thanks!

Holy crap, thanks TOTWTYTR.

I know the company you keep, and the person who gave *you* this award. I've also been impressed as hell by your writing.

So I'm doubly honored by the award. I'll get something up probably later today/tonight.

Does this mean I have to stop writing about fart jokes now? :)

Ted, you're welcome. I really enjoy your writing, even when you come up with an idea before I do.

JayG, no keep the fart jokes. They are part of you. Keep up the craziness, it makes me seem normal. :)
